Privacy Policy

What we process

• Submitted links. When you paste a link, the server fetches that public page to find downloadable media. The link is processed in memory to serve your request and is not saved to a database or profile.
• Downloaded media. Media files stream through the server directly to your browser. They are never written to disk or retained after the transfer finishes.
• IP address. Your IP address is used in server memory for rate limiting (to prevent abuse). Rate-limit counters expire automatically within an hour and are not linked to any account or identity.

What we do not do

• No accounts, sign-ups, or passwords.
• No storage of the links you paste or the files you download.
• No selling or sharing of visitor data.
• No tracking cookies set by ClipSave itself.

Advertising and cookies

ClipSave may display advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are active, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can learn how Google uses data from ad-serving at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Where required by law, a consent prompt is shown before advertising cookies are used.

Third-party sources

Fetching a link means the source website (for example Instagram) receives a normal page request from our server. The source site's own privacy policy governs what it does with that request. ClipSave sends no personal data of yours to source sites.

Data retention

Download links expire after 10 minutes. Rate-limit counters expire within one hour. Standard, short-lived server logs may record requests for security and debugging and are not used to build user profiles.
